artAdults
Most parents put their kids’ first, but it is important for us adults to have some creative time too.
We are currently looking at options for our artAdult sessions and would like to start off by offering an Art Retreat. This would be an opportunity for parents (or grandparents) to escape to the coast to the beautiful Murramarang Beachfront Resort in Durras and spend the weekend re-discovering their creative side through guided art-making sessions, learning new techniques and skills and creating with other like-minded recovering Artists. This would be aimed at Beginner to Intermediate levels, or anyone wanting to carve out some creative time and space for themselves.
At this stage, we are collecting Expressions of Interest for those who would consider joining us. The cost of the two full-day workshops (Saturday and Sunday, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm) would be separate to the accommodation as Murramarang has a variety of accommodation options to suit individual budgets.
Guided art-making tuition and skills sessions for two days
Basic art supplies, however, participants are welcome to bring their own supplies if they have a preference.
Morning and afternoon tea provided – one hour lunch break where participants provide own lunch (or purchase at the onsite café).
Accommodation – participants can organise to stay onsite at Murramarang Resort or in other weekend accommodation in Durras (Big 4, Lakesea Caravan Park, etc)
No meals included – self-contained units on site provide self-catering options and there is an onsite café for lunch and dinner options. Alternatively, Bateman’s Bay is a short drive away.
